“A picture is worth a thousand words” and that’s why I’m not going to tell you about my work, the awards I’ve received, or how exciting and gratifying my career has been. I’m truly thankful for all the opportunities I’ve experienced, but more importantly the people I’ve worked with.
When I’m not glued to a photoshop file, I’m outdoors enjoying what nature has to offer, finding local live music, exploring a new recipe for dinner - possibly one I can share my wine with - and trying very hard not to be the worst at gardening. I love a good page-turner. Just add a log onto the fire, and I’m all set.
On the North Shore, about one mile from the Nissequogue River, is a place I call home. A fresh water river that runs into the Long Island Sound - a tranquil place - a place I go to think, relax and reflect. Other than taking up residence for short periods of time throughout the country, Long Island is where I’ve lived all my life.
Of all the titles I’ve had - Creative Director, Art Director, Graphic Designer, Business Owner, Committee Member... - the title that rises to the top of the list is “mom”. I have two sons who continually make me proud to hold that title (bragging rights well deserved). As titles come and go in life, that one is always with me.
Having designed for the wine industry, I’ve learned to love fine wine, especially paired with some good tunes. A great wine can taste like two different wines if you drink it listening to rock or Bach. When the perfect jams and the perfect juice collide, it’s just too good.
My friends would describe me as a good listener, passionate about my work, a person of simple needs, and a quiche maker extraordinaire.
I live by the motto “The purpose of life is a life of purpose”.
